More Information
About The Author
Aaron is a certified HVAC service technician who has worked in the field servicing Southwest Michigan for over a decade. His extensive experience in residential HVAC maintenance and repair has equipped him with deep insights into what homeowners actually need to know. His list of past and current certifications include credentials from NATE (North American Technician Excellence), NCI (National Comfort Institute), as well as manufacturer training programs and regional licensing bodies. Aaron’s passion for clear, no-nonsense communication—plus a dash of humor—shines through in every chapter.
About The Author's Dog
Belle is a Shepherd mix who was adopted in December of 2022. With a big heart and an even bigger personality, she’s been a constant source of support (and comic relief!) throughout the writing of this book. While her contributions have been mostly in a supportive role—providing moral support, couch snuggles, and the occasional editorial head-tilt—she’s also made sure the author didn’t get too much sleep, waking him up in the middle of the night to chase after things she saw in the backyard. Her presence has been invaluable (even if she has no idea what HVAC stands for).
Photos and More
Included in this book are a series of photos and stories directly from the field. You'll also find homeowner forms to keep track of your equipment and a log for service calls all in one location! Additional photos and downloadable forms can be found on the website www.bibhvac.com using the code found in the book.
Why Two Versions
Before It Breaks is available in both black & white and color versions to help keep the cost affordable. The reality is that color printing costs more, so to cover that (and to make sure Belle still gets her treats), I’m offering two versions. No matter which one you choose, you’ll get full color photos on my website: www.bibhvac.com.
